On World Veterinary Day 2022 we feel it is timely to consider the pressures that people face in this profession, given the recent tragic loss of our dear friend and equine vet, Jamie Stewart.
When money is tight and we are faced with hefty, unexpected bills, due to our horse becoming sick or injured, it can be so easy to criticise those who are ultimately there to help.
Jamie was a unique, insanely intelligent and eccentric human being. He was also a talented poet and gifted storyteller.
