The ‘Five Freedoms’ are internationally accepted standards of care that clarify humane treatment of all living creatures.
The standards were developed by Britain’s Farm Animal Welfare Council in 1965.
At Here4Horses, we provide a uniquely happy and healthy environment which we feel goes way beyond the Five Freedoms required for horses and ponies to thrive.
We believe that all horse and pony owners and keepers, should apply the ‘Five Freedoms’ as a minimum standard of care for their animals.
We have produced our own version here and hope you will download and distribute it for us.
