2019 was a great year for us. We set out to secure sufficient funds to submit an application to register with the Charities Commission.
A huge effort from our talented team, with support from generous donors, led to the successful result we had hoped for.
2020 on the other hand, has been a challenging year for everyone and we are certainly no exception, having experienced many highs – and heartbreaking lows.
There was cause for much celebration at the end of May 2020, when confirmation arrived that our charity registration had been successful – this was great news indeed.
We also successfully registered our prefix so that all our rescue horses and ponies will carry ‘Here4horses’ before their name and be eligible for rescue classes at shows everywhere.
We were however, very disappointed to find ourselves with no option but to postpone our big Launch Event as a result of Covid 19.
The Launch promised to be an exciting occasion for all of us, with an array of activities and demos planned and we hoped to welcome lots of friends and supporters old and new.
Originally scheduled to take place on Sunday May 10th 2020 at Bishop Auckland Football Club, a superb venue right next to Sainsbury’s, we are now committed to setting a new date for Spring 2021 as soon as possible.
So, please watch this space as the countdown to this fabulous event has re-started!
