Well… we have news – some very good and some maybe not so 
We are very happy to report that we have found young Biggles a lovely foster mum 
Harriet lost her own foal weeks ago but instantly decided that Biggles was worthy of her love and care.
Unfortunately for us her milk hasn’t increased to meet his demands (currently consuming almost 3 litres a day), so although he now has the opposite problem to constipation , we are still having to top him up.
Sadly, the getting up in the night continues 
but it’s paying off as he has gained over 6Kg in two weeks (that’s more than a third of his original bodyweight)! 
He’s now looking much more healthy – no bony bum ever again for Biggles.
He has also decided that now he has his own horse Harriet, humans are officially surplus to requirements 
We are now purely an additional food source and he’s very clear that the relationship ends there.
We’re happy with that – for now at least
