Perkins has been slow to come to full health and has experienced one or two setbacks.
We feel he needs time to grow and mature before we secure the perfect foster home for him.
Perkins sadly started out, as yet another unwanted and abandoned foal. He is named after one of the kind ladies who helped to transport him to us. He was very lucky to be found before he met a miserable fate, like so many others.
Weaned from his mother much too early in August 2019, he arrived distressed, dehydrated and hungry. He would desperately try and suckle for milk from any companion but thankfully adapted to foal milk from a bucket very quickly.
Perkins is now the darling of the yard and you will see him often as a Here4Horses ambassador.
Anyone stealing his limelight – including Budgie!
