Hilda B

2016 | Black | Gypsy Cob | Under 14.2hh

Hilda will start her ridden education this year and needs financial support to prepare her for future adoption. We are sure she will become a super family pony in time.

The story so far...

Hilda B is unusual in several ways.  She is female for starters, when normally it is colts that we find abandoned. She is also black rather than coloured, which again is quite a rarity in these parts.

Hilda B is a very sweet pony, popular with the yard team and not ‘mareish’ at all.

Mareish is a horsey term to describe some mares who can be temperamental and prone to moodiness, often linked to the effect of hormones.

She is placid, keeps herself out of trouble and prefers a quiet life in the company of people.

She has grown considerably since her arrival as a very small foal and may well make 14 hands in height.
