My love of horses started nearly 20 years ago when I had a weekly lesson at the local riding school. Riding lessons progressed to loaning a pony and subsequently become a horse owner.

During my studies at college and university, I worked on a weekend with Wendy and this is where my true passion for equine welfare was ignited.

Witnessing the suffering of these animals first hand truly opened my eyes to the extent of the problem, especially in the North East and is exactly the reason why I help this wonderful charity fulfil its aims.
